Here is another heartwarming story of good times for many residents in this nursing home. One very engaged Activity Director has done her homework and brought the world to the residents of the nursing home in West Kingston, Rhode Island. She introduced Virtual Reality Goggles to the residents and they love them. For residents unable to get outside wearing the goggles brings the world of travel or a walk through the park to their room. For others who love animals – running wild or in the zoo – they can see the “cute baby elephant” up close. Finally, there is a benefit for those with memory problems as it helps to bring the world and life back to them.
