Another reminder of things to celebrate in nursing homes today…….

The holiday season can be stressful and for those living in a continuing care setting it can be lonely. Thoughts often turn to past holidays when all the family was together and there was shopping to do, and concerts to attend as well as the Christmas pageant at the church. Such memories can bring joy or sadness, longing or relief, but for many, moments of happiness are rekindled when families and organizations come to visit, when school children sing carols in the hallways, or when Santa makes an appearance.

One such event is scheduled on December 6, 2019, at the Lutheran Village, in Baltimore. A wonderful concert is planned by the “Flutes on the Brink” and the songs and colorful pageantry is sure to provide an evening of enjoyment and perhaps rekindle a fond memory or two.
